Week 10: Staying Focused

Verse: “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” — Colossians 3:2

Reflection: In a game, distractions can lead to costly mistakes. In life, focusing on God keeps us grounded and leads us toward His purpose. By keeping our thoughts on Him, we find clarity and peace.

Prayer: God, keep my focus on You. Help me to stay centered in Your truth and to ignore distractions that pull me away from Your will.

Week 6: Practicing Patience

Verse: “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” — Psalm 27:14

Reflection: In a game, waiting for the right moment to pass or shoot is essential. Likewise, God often calls us to wait for His timing in life. Trusting Him builds patience and strengthens our faith, even when we don’t see immediate results.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to wait on You. Help me to be patient, trusting that Your timing is always perfect.
