Forgiveness

 Verse: “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” — Colossians 3:13

Reflection: Forgiveness heals and restores relationships. God’s forgiveness is a gift we extend to others.

Prayer: Father, help me to forgive freely. Thank You for Your grace and mercy toward me.

Trusting the Referee

 Verse: “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities.” — Romans 13:1

Reflection: Players respect referees, trusting their judgment. We honor God when we respect authority and trust His sovereignty.

Prayer: Lord, help me respect authority, trusting that You are in control of all things.

Fall Soccer Time Change: Now Sundays at 4PM!

 With the days getting shorter, we’re adjusting our soccer schedule for the fall. Starting this week, we’ll meet on Sundays at 4:00 PM instead of our usual time.

This new time will help us make the most of the daylight and keep the fun going all season long.

📍 Where: Haw River Community Park
📅 When: Sundays at 4 PM

As always, everyone ages 10 and up are welcome—bring your friends, family, and a water bottle. Let’s enjoy the beautiful fall weather together on the field!

Perseverance

 Verse: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” — James 1:2

Reflection: Tough times build strength and character. God uses challenges to refine our faith.

Prayer: Father, help me to face trials with joy, knowing that You’re shaping me through them.

Guarding Against Pride

 Verse: “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” — Proverbs 16:18

Reflection: Overconfidence can lead to mistakes in a game. Humility keeps us grounded and reliant on God.

Prayer: Lord, keep my heart humble. Help me to give You the glory for every victory.

Rising Above Criticism

 Verse: “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.” — Romans 12:14

Reflection: Players face criticism on and off the field. God calls us to respond to negativity with grace and love.

Prayer: Father, help me to rise above criticism. Teach me to respond with kindness and patience.
